On the afternoon of March 18, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received the Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Cooperation Development Association (VASEAN).

The Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Cooperation Development Association was established in 2008, is a professional social organization gathering Vietnamese businesses, scientists, individuals and organizations operating in the field of cooperation. economic, investment, trade and tourism with ASEAN countries; At the same time, expanding cooperation with Japan, China, Korea, and India. Over the past years, the Association has actively organized business delegations to explore the markets of ASEAN countries, actively contributed opinions to build State policies ... 

At the meeting, representatives of member enterprises of the Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Cooperation Development Association expressed their thanks for the attention and support of the Government, ministries, branches and localities over the past time; highly appreciated that the Government had successfully controlled the Covid-19 epidemic, thereby maintaining stable production and business in the current context. Enterprises expressed their wish to create more favorable conditions for mechanisms and policies related to land and credit; suggested the Government continue to direct the further improvement of the business investment environment to expand investment, develop production, business and services.

Considering the potential for cooperation with ASEAN countries is still great, the Prime Minister stated that ASEAN is a very important partner of Vietnam in all aspects, in which economy is a priority field of cooperation. Therefore, businesses need to carefully research the market, have an effective, sure and sustainable business plan. In particular, it is especially necessary to study the ability of capital, experience, business, international relations ...

The Prime Minister hopes that businesses in general and the Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Cooperation Development Associations in particular will pay attention to green development, business integrity, and environmental protection; fight against corruption and negativity. In the process of business investment, businesses not only focus on profits but also need to attach importance to contributing to building friendly relationships and cooperation with ASEAN countries, and respectful compliance with Vietnamese laws.
